Macquarie Kick Starter Winners 2021

We are proud to announce this year’s amazing Macquarie Group Foundation Kick Starter program winners. This year the Foundation awarded two $15,000 grants and one $10,000 grant to the organisations below. Kick Starter is a 12 week business plan program, that matches up social entrepreneurs with Macquarie Group mentors, to help develop a business plan. Before submitting the plan and a final video pitch to a judging panel, the entrepreneurs also take part in a variety of capability boosting workshops, to skill them up for the road ahead.

This year we decided to continue to deliver Kick Starter in the online format to remove the uncertainty around Covid. We had participants from WA, NSW, VIC and QLD working together despite border restrictions!  We would like to thank all our participants for being a part of this round of Kick Starter, whether they won or not, and hope that they have all made great new connections and have new skills that will last a lifetime!

The 2021 winners address a broad range of issues that have local and international impacts. We wish them all the best and look forward to hearing about their successes in the coming year!
